A247.com.au acquired by the Emprise Group
A247 International Pty Ltd, a member company of the Emprise Group, has today acquired the A247.com.au business founded in 2018 by Mark Muras.
The Emprise Group, is a group of well established businesses in the regional touring and outdoor adventure markets, with a heritage spanning over 50 years across our brands that include Hema Maps and Caravan World.
The A247 business will compliment the iconic Hema Maps brand which celebrates 40 years of operation this year. Hema Maps is the market leader in off-road and remote navigation in Australia.
On the announcement, A247 Founder Muras said "As the founder of A247, I am extremely proud that such a high profile, and respected, business has invested in the vision we set out to deliver for A247.
"As we transition to the new operating model, I will continue to be a brand ambassador for the business and provide support to the A247 International team to continue to expand our presence in the Australian market."
Emprise Group Chairman, Sam Hayward commented "The addition of the A247 business to our existing businesses, Hema Maps, HemaX Digital and Adventures Group, is a natural extension of the strategy we put in place four years ago when we established Emprise."

A247 International will commence operations under the new banner from 1 February 2023.
